20/03 – World Oral Health Day
Live Mouth Smart
World Oral Day is today, March 20, and it’s time to “Live Mouth Smart” by brushing up on your hygienic know-how. After all, our teeth are essential. They help us to smile, laugh and talk - gestures we oftentimes take for granted.
Do you know why we celebrate World Oral Health Day today?
Healthy adults should have a total of 32 teeth and 0 dental cavities, which can be digitally translated as 3/20, and then interpreted as March 20th – voila!
Even if at LEBON we believe it is important to think about oral health daily, today is the perfect day to take a moment to consider if our dental health could use some improvement and register how it impacts our overall health.
A healthy mouth and a healthy body go hand in hand.
Your mouth is a mirror that reflects your general health and wellbeing. Maintaining a fit mouth means better overall health and quality of life. These steps include avoiding risk factors, adopting good oral hygiene habits, and attending regular dental check-ups.
To celebrate healthy smiles and laughs across the globe, we want to share some smart tips to keep your smile in tip-top shape for a lifetime. And don’t worry, as it’s never too early or too late to start looking after your mouth. Your body will thank you.
And don’t forget to switch to a new toothbrush every three months.
